The last release in 2014 from the Vault was the Sleeping Beauty 55th Anniversary edition – this was released October 7th 2014.

Only 2 releases come out of the vault per year. Here’s what is coming out of the vault this year.

101 Dalmations Diamond Edition – 10th February 2015

For February 2016 you can expect to see Pinocchio. You can still purchase The Little Mermaid and the Jungle Book until 30th April 2015 when they will go back into the vault, so be quick if you want to add these to your movie library!

Please note that this is likely to be the UK schedule ONLY. We’re working hard to being you accurate US vault information.

    1. Can I please have a email for the updates on what comes out and when? Also for the ones that came out or will…how long they will be out… Like what does TBA mean? And how often does it get updated? Thanks.

      1. Hi John,

As we’re not official spokespeople for Disney, we have no more idea about the schedule of what’s being released from the vault or going back in the vault and when. TBA means ‘To Be Arranged’ which means the finer details have not yet been decided upon. We update as often as we can and use all of the resources that we have, but the bottom line is that the vault operates differently in different countries and ultimately – Disney will do exactly what they want, despite the fact that customers want to buy DVDs and don’t want to see them disappear!

  1. When can we expect Beauty and the Beast to be released for it is still not on the shelves yet, and according to your calendar, it should have been released by now?

  2. FYI: its Jan 6, 2016 and I still managed to purchase 101 Dalmatians BluRay + Digital HD and Jungle Book BluRay + Digital HD from the Disney Movie Club. So thankfully some of the predictions on returning to the vault are not correct.

I would have also snagged Snow White which will be released on Feb 9th but they are a pain in the neck about their 50% off deals not combining with anything else and its on a promo price of 26.99 ( oh gee thanks for the 3 dollars Disney 😛 )…. so I got the Jungle Book combo for 31.95 plus 50% off on 101 Dalmations for $15.

    1. Hi Brandon,

Some of the Vault predictions run true to UK releases only. I’ve noticed that Beauty and the Beast seems to be in the Vault Stateside but over here, it’s released and available…. Disney do like to make things difficult, don’t they?!

  3. Is Beauty and the Beast Enchanted Christmas in the vault and if so when might it be released again for purchase?

  4. Hello, I saw on your out of the vault table above that Pinocchio was to be released on 2/9/16. Went to the store to purchase and was looked at like I was crazy! Do you know when it will be available for purchase?

    1. Hi Kayla,

Sadly there doesn’t seem to be any plans at the moment. However, if you have a region free DVD player you may be able to buy these titles from international Amazon sites, where they seem to be readily available.

      Lisa 🙂

  5. I purchased Beauty and the Beast on Amazon, which was a UK copy and it did not work on my DVD player. Just wanted to warn everybody here is the US!

    1. Hi Katie,

Oh no! Sorry to hear that. I think it’s quite well known that there are different formats on DVDs for different countries (I believe the USA is NTSC and we are PAL), so of course, before ordering any DVDs check compatibility….Region Free players are available in the UK (hopefully the US too?) but there are also websites that offer conversions. You’d have to google to find them but they are available.

      Lisa 🙂

  6. I just wanted to put this out there, many times DVD’s purchased in one country will not work in another. I have a few DVD’s I bought in Australia and they will not work in my American DVD player. So I would be careful purchasing Beauty and the Beast from the UK and having it shipped over. May want to double check the UK version will work in the States.

    1. Hi Laura,
I’m not sure if you guys have ‘region-free’ DVD players but we can get them here. I think it’s widely known that there are different formats on DVDs (I believe the USA is NTSC and we are PAL), so of course, before ordering any DVDs check compatibility 🙂

      Thanks
      Lisa
