So the review for today is stepping away from the character meals and looking at a quick service restaurant.
Sometimes Hollywood Studios is accused of lacking quick service options, but I don’t think that is the case, The ABC Commissary being a prime example.
An Art Deco themed building, the restaurant pays its due to the ABC Channel owned by The Walt Disney Company, with posters from shows varying from Castle to Lost.
The ABC Commissary is one of the larger quick service restaurants in my opinion, located right in the heart of Hollywood Studios. I found it to be rather busy and took quite a while to be served.
The food on the other hand was very good, even with the delays. It serves the usual fare of burgers and fries, as well as some more adventurous items, such as Asian salad and Salmon.
We went with just the usual Angus 1/3 lb cheeseburger, which for me was one of the better burgers we had while dining at Disney. While my son had one of the power packs.
We enjoyed the theme immensely and the food was very good, but was just let down by the slow service.
Overall: 7.25 /10
