As some of you will know, I went back to Disneyland Paris in September for the first time in a year.
I returned for the Run Disney weekend as I have for the last 3 years. I had let my annual pass lapse after the 2017 race weekend, but I repurchased one when I arrived in September.
Now I always get a pass not knowing when I return, but make the use of the discounts in the park on that current trip so it makes it worth it.
Saying that I kind of hoped to make it back out before the end of 2018, but sadly real life got in the way. And in some ways I wasn’t really excited about getting out there.
But this will all change. I have trip with Sam booked for March, he hasn’t been since 2017 so I am excited about him seeing the parks again, but also for it to be our first boy’s trip together.
On top of that I am very excited to see the progress on the expansion of the Studios which begin next month with the closure of the Art of Animation building and just after we travel, Armageddon.
Alongside the closure of Hotel New York, there are lots of exciting projects going on.
We will aslo be visiting during two massive seasons for the parks, Legends of the Force, which we have seen before, and Princesses & Pirates, something we have never seen before.
I am also hopeful that I will make it out for a solo trip for one of the Annual Pass Soirees that have been popping up over the last year or so. (Won’t be the next one for Princesses and Pirates, but still have my fingers crossed that we get that rumoured Phantom Manor event once the attraction re-opens
