James Gunn Returns to Direct Guardians of The Galaxy:Mission Breakout

While fans may not be overly happy that The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is being replaced at Disney’s California Adventure, the redo of the ride is in safe hands.

Yes that’s right the director of Guardians of the Galaxy Volumes 1 & 2 has returned to direct the action on Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout

James Gunn, during a live Q&A on Facebook, confirmed that although originally he had his reservations about the ride, once he saw what Disney and Marvel had planned, not only did he want to be involved, he agreed to direct his returning stars, Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel as well as villain Benicio Del Toro, who featured as The Collector in Volume 1.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout is expected to open in Summer 2017 and Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 will be in Cinemas this May
